You can research that in the media section of the Martin Luther King main branch downtown San Jose. There you can bring up on the computer screen past newspaper issues, find what you want and obtain a copy.

You can email them and see if they can give you the info over the net.

But to get info on the murders that happened then and there, you may need to go to the newspaper office or a local library.

Also, remember than someone might be shot, attacked, whatever, but not die for a few days.
