Say you are to win a couple million dollars but there's a catch. You only get the money if you move to another country, change your name, and give up your family. It's a social experiment. Do people value money over family and things in which they are familar? Would you drop your family and take the money starting over some place else? (remember your family is lost to you and you are presumed dead by them. no contact)

I would love to say that immediately I would say no but I am sadly a fairly material person. However, I would still say no but it's not like the thought wouldn't have crossed my mind. I'd love to buy things like awesome cars and super fun go carts and huge trampolines and stuff, but without friends and family they'd be no fun! Plus I would hate to make my family think I was dead. So yes, I know I would think about it for a second, but I would for sure say no.

No money in the world is worth someones dear family. I hear lots of sad stories about sudden millionaires. Even most lottery winners say they aren't happy and wished they've never gotten the money. Nope, family is more important.

As much as I would want to take the money, in reality there's no way I would give up my family.

Plus, moving to another country scares me!

I'm happy now, before I have a free $2 million, I'll be happy after I give it up. Nobody messes with my family.

I would because my family already has forgotten about me so it's definitely an option for me.

If you offered it to me right now I'd say yes. Can I pick the country?

If so, then I'd live in Australia.

I would definitely NOT take the money. To me, I am nothing without the love and support of my family. I live paycheck to paycheck so my legacy is my family!

No. That would be giving up who I am and most of what matters to me most in the world, and there is no amount of money worth that.
