That's a fairly open-ended question. What does normal mean? For what kind of work? Try this: here is a link to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. You can look up the area of the country you are in, and then find the exact occupation you are talking about. This will give you an idea what the "average, normal" person makes in that field, on an hourly basis. Multiply by 70 or 80 to get your biweekly pay.

My husband shoots for a minimum of 500/wk, but we have three kids and I stay home. If you're single, and young $500/wk is excllent money. you could proably get by on $500/2wks, but then it depends on where you live too. cost of living can varry like crazy from one state or even city to the next.
