Could be caused by a lot of things. If it's a sudden occurence, and you haven't had any bizarre female complications in the past, could it be remotely possible you are pregnant? Or have you lost a lot of weight all at once? Been under a lot of stress? Lots of things can interfere with your cycle, but you should always talk to your doctor if it does something especially unusual.

How old are you? Had you been getting your period regularly prior to this? When I was younger, I had irregular periods. Eventually, as I became older, they became more regular. Some people have irregular periods their whole life. Also, during menopause periods will be irregular before they stop. And you have to go a whole year before you're considered "done with them" altogether. But, since you're having to ask this question, I'm guessing you're pretty young compared to menopausal. It could also be due to an eating disorder such as anorexia.

See don't neglect this & tell to he Doctor.
I think that Period doesn't stop without Pregnency. If you would not Pregnent then your Unfertilize egg(Ovum) would come outside as a Period. But if Egg Fertilize with Sperm ,Both the ovaries stop to Producing Egg (Ovum) at a month.
or If there no pregnency according to your understanding then it would be Serious Case because Normally it doesn't happen.
So please go to the Doctor & Confirm.

Sometimes this is stress related, sometimes abnormal periods are quite normal, depending on your age. The younger or older you are, the more likely your periods are to be stress related. Also, the depo shot can cause it to skip. If you're in your 20's or 30's and not on depo though you might want to see your doctor if you're that worried.

Have you been exercising or dieting excessively or are you under a lot of stress? This can all cause missed periods. Also if you're young it can sometimes take years to establish a regular pattern.

It is hard to say..we have women come in each day with this same complaint..we often put them on medication to start their periods and it usually works..I would recommend you seeing your doctor and get an exam and talk with them about your problem...
