Those that don't are fools. Whether you believe we have been visited by extraterrestrials or not, that's up for debate, but to question if there are other intelligent life out there in the vast universe? That's stupid. Why in this vast universe would WE be the only intelligent (and I use that loosely for humans) life forms?
I personally think our life form is so far inferior that no other species even cares to come here and do anything. Just like Star Trek and the prime directive, until we've reach a certain level of maturity in our development, we're trash...

that's an interesting question -- I'm not a firm believer in life outside Earth, but I am a frim non-believer that there can't be life out there.
here's an clue to the above -- put a penny on your dresser -- the penny represents Earth and the dresser represents the Milky Way Galaxy. Your house represents the rest of the KNOWN universe. Now, how about the rest of the town -- that represents the UNKNOWN universe.
I find it unplausable that there ISN'T life out there given all of the space out there.

My belief is that we have to be open minded. Are we really so arrogant to think we are THE be all and end all of life in this universe?
I've never had a close encounter but there are many things we human beings just don't know yet. We can't be so small minded as to believe it is not possible.

Sure do!
Do I think we'll ever meet up with any?
Nope!
Well, unless the whole theory of relativity is disproved or we somehow in the future find a way to extend our lifespans a few hundred thousand years.

Yes absolutely! I believe it is very closed minded to think that we could be the only intelligent beings in the universe.

I think given the expanse of the universe that yes there has to be other life out there. Like ours? Likely not.

simply put yes i do. not nessacarly the same as us though. depends on what its based on. carbon like us or somthingelse.
all things have life even if we don't reconise it. just consider the different forms of life on this planet. rocks, trees, animals and plants all have the life force in them rom the creator of all things just on a different level from ours.

I believe there has to be something else out there. Space is so HUGE that we can't possibly be the only living things out here.

Of course I do. Stastically, there has to be life out in the universe. I just am not certain we have been visited.
