In our house we call them "wormholes"; when we swear we never moved something from it's original place, it disappears, and reappears in the same spot. Packs of gum, keys, wallets, etc.

Yes once the remote control for the TV was lost for 2 weeks and then suddenly it appeared on the Mantle in the living room. I had looked there several times.

All the time, and in the strangest places. I've found my glasses in the freezer; my cigarettes in the bathroom; my nail clippers between the couch cushions. I've brought in the mail, lost it, and found it a couple of days later on top of the fridge.

alot of the time. trip over things until i need them and then can't find them anywhere. have to buy a new one before the original shows up again.
