My laptop connects to wireless lan settings, but for some reason now you cant really get on the internet. You can do yahoo messenger and chat, but if you click on the internet icon, it says error bla blah blah. How can it let me use internet programs, such as chat, but not the internet with a search bar and stuff. Its an Acer laptop.

it keeps saying internet exlporer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Thats it. It says that before it even opens. And how can I download firefox if I cant get online exactly.

Pretty tough to help without knowing what the blah, blah, blah says. It is important to copy the error messages exactly.

It would be nice to know what the blah blah blah was. Sounds like there is a problem with the browser. If you click on Internet Explorer, will it load a web page?

Its not your internet connection. It is the browser you use. You can download a different browser such as Mozilla Firefox or AOL Explorer for free.

Download Firefox and your problems will be saved. Have to reinstall Internet Explorer 6 to get it to work.

Does it work in another browser (Firefox)? If so, then maybe you have some virus or spyware?
