The Islamonuts dearly love to shriek like banshees at the mere hint of one of their death-cult manifestos being mistreated, but seem to have an utter lack of regard for, say, the Bible, to say nothing of their treatment of Torans. What was that saying about what is good for the goose is good for the gander?

Maybe there should be a nice video posted to YouTube showing a Koran being drizzled with pig offal, then doused with pig fat and set on fire and tossed into a garbage can full of dog turds (far from any inhabitation, of course, because the smell would be something awful).

Okay, now, if you do try this, please be sure to wear disposable latex gloves when handling any unsanitary materials, and possibly a face mask to screen out harmful combustion byproducts, because that stuff is nasty to your lungs if you breath it. It might also be prudent to use a digital camera with optical zoom so you don't risk damage to it from heat, and a shallow pan for burning materials so you do not have to lean over to see with the camera (heat damage to the camera, plus nasty smoke).

Not to be too much of a nanny, check fire regulations in your area, too, so the fuzz don't hassle you about it, and be aware that posting it to YouTube will doubtless stir up a turdstorm. They may yank it almost immediately out of sheer cowardice anyway. You may have to post it to, say, BitTorrent (use The Pirate Bay for seeds).

In answer to a question below, the Torah is the Jewish holy book. I misspelled it as Toran. My apologies. >.<

The Saudis are Wahabbists, and are allies only on paper, in the most legalistic way. In any real sense, they are mortal enemies. They teach hatred of Christians and Jews as part of state-sanctioned education.

I think I'll do what you said about the Koran...I'll get one and do horrible things to it and then up load it to "You Tube" for all the world to see.
I love your thinking.

The power of the religious text is not in the paper and ink, but in the belief of what is written.
The belief that the power comes from the book may have begun in the days when books were scarce, in an effort to prevent loss or damage.
And we can see the results of that desicion.

Ancient books that cannot be replaced, one-of's, and rare volumes are another matter. This answer is for the mass produced copies.

And what exactly would be the point of such a waste of chitlins, lard and fertilizer.

As for the books, maybe they should be read so that you could really piss of the Islamic fundies by knowing what the books say while they don't

And the Saudis are USA allies by the way

This goes on to show why violence escalates, by ignorant and immoral people thinking it's justifies to fight fire with fire and go and do something stupid just because they can. All of you should be ahsmed of yourselves. You're no better than someone who does what you criticise. I'm reporting you for abuse.

The world would be a lot better off if all religions were outlawed. Don't look at the differences in people. Look at all the similarities instead.

Book burning was the practice of Nazis and Hitler propaganda. Do you think that is a good idea to use the same theories? God already knows the difference.

Really, what would it solve? I think as deplorable of an act it is to destroy a Bible, Jesus would probably rather hear our prayers for them instead. Do we gain a soul by offending them?

Don't think that would solve much at all. I do like the idea of the pig blood and fat though.

For every bible destroyed 2 should replace it.
Destroying a koran for every bible is counterproductive and un christian like.
