I thought it seemed like just a stupid spinoff of the first one. and the ending sucked. and the jokes weren't new. they were all just references to the first.
Its a pity cause the first one is one of my favorite movies...

It is a continuation of the first movie, and it ended that way, because the
third and final one comes out next year. I will admit, it was a little "darker"
than the first one, and if you don't know anything about Davy Jones, it could be a little confusing, but I enjoyed it and can't wait to see the final one

a pair of 9. are not getting me incorrect, Pirates 2 is surprising, besides the undeniable fact that it would not carry a candle to the 1st one. it somewhat is plenty darker and greater complicated (which could be good) than the gentle-hearted exciting of the 1st one. It nonetheless has a similar great characters, and those surprising humorous moments besides the undeniable fact that it had an fairly severe overtone. And the ending felt like they only ended the action picture as a results of fact it replaced into so long and Pirates 3 will only be the 2d 0.5 of Pirates 2.

Extremely dissapointed in this movie. It was one of the longest, most boring movies I've ever sat through. I love Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp in everything else they've ever done but this one was just BAD! I only stayed for the whole thing because I was with a group of 14 y/o girls.

Well, i was dissapointed at first, but then i got thinking about it and is not really so bad...they COULD have made a better ending where Jack didnt die (although i still think he didnt... Jack+Sword = not ded). I guess we'll have to wait and see the next movie, hoping they will go back to the origianal way of filming.

I liked it, i ended up having to sit in the front row and that sucked, but it was a pretty good movie.....That part at the end...so didnt see it coming!!

while not as good as the first I still thought it offered a few light hearted laughs and was an amusing relaxing fun movie
