Mid-Missouri, around Columbia is a hot air balloon mecca. The terrain is gorgeous and the weather nice for it. I actually made love in the gondola of a balloon one lovely September afternoon over the town of Columbia with the handsome young gent who took me up for a flight. Not quite the "Mile High Club", but WOW!

In Vermont and I am not sure the guy running the thing was too bright.
