My favorite toy when I was very little was a little woolly lamb (always described in exactly those terms) that had a music box in his tummy. It played "Mary Had a Little Lamb" for a while, then fell silent. I loved that lamb, and carried him everywhere. Sadly, I have no idea what eventually happened to him.
I called my favorite doll Ginny, although she was actually a cheaper knock-off brand which I got for cereal box-tops. I made clothes for her, and so did my mother and my grandmother. When I got "too old for dolls," I gave her to the little girl next door. Now, of course, as an adult doll collector, I deeply regret that decision.

Yes a cabbage patch doll named Hope. She was one of the 1st that wasn't white, she is black. My grandmother ordered it a year in advance and we kept saying we hope it still there when we get back (she ordered it when we were visiting N.C. and we didn't go back to visit right when the order was ready so we were hoping they didn't just sell it to someone else) so thats where the name came in. I got her when I was 6. I used to take pictures with her, I had tons of clothes to change her into and even diapers and everything. Oh and yes I do still have her and I am going on 28 now!

I had a Pollyanna doll that was two feet tall
My daughter was playing with her when she was little and bumped into her hand. Well she knocked the dolls eye out cause she thought it had it her. Looks bad but not that bad.
