As long as you live under your parents roof, you should honor and obey them. They obviously see something they are trying to protect you from with this guy. You are blinded to it because you like the guy. Remember this, you parents were teenagers once also, so it's not like they don't know or understand. They know alot more than you think.

Listen to your parents. Though they may not voice all their reasons for why they don't like him, they have years of experience under their belts. There is more than likely a good reason, its not just to make your life miserable
