Don't worry about the weight right now to protect the baby. But walking is a good exercise to keep the weight under control.

Don't worry about losing weight, the key is to not gain any more than what your doc suggests. Walk every day! And go to the library or bookstore and gets some books on eating healthy while pregnant. This is the perfect opportunity to change your eating habits for good! Think whole foods, not processed, and get as many fresh fruit and veggies and whole grains as you can. Drink lots of water. They key to shedding the pregnancy weight after delivery? Breastfeeding! Trust me, I was in your shoes with my first child.

CONGRATS! yes you can do many exercises while your pregnant, I myself didnt do much but when I did I would lift hand weights 10lbs. and 7lbs.
i did leg lifts while lying on my side on the floor, We walked a lot to and thats always good for you. You really dont want to lose weight you want to maintain a good weight. not become over weight.
i gained 40 lbs during pregnancy believe it or not lol
lost it all very quickly.
anyways eat healthy, junkfood never hurts though.
if you feel hungry just eat, you need to stay in a good weight range though. if all fails who cares youll lose it after pregnancy!
ALSO- stretch marks occur very fast thank god i ended up with only about 4-5 very small ones un noticable, i used cream every day back, arms, legs and belly of course, start early

Please don't worry about losing weight now. If you try to lose the weight, the baby will still get its nutirents from you thus robbing you and making you sick. This will be a miserable pregnancy for you.
Once the baby is born, the best way to burn calories is to get this: BREAST FEED.
That will help you burn a lot of calories
