I just learned a roach trick. Take a glass jar, like a quart size, put some coffee grounds in it and about two inches of water. Be careful to keep the insides of the jar clean. Place it next to the wall and tipped slightly so the the top is in contact with the wall. Roaches will smell the coffee (a strong attract for roaches) and climb down into the jar. The sides are too smooth to climb out and they drown in the water. This really works, I have several outside right now and lots of dead roaches. Let me know if it works for you too. Good Luck

Is it a house you rent? Tell the landlord that you have roaches. If they do not take care of the problem start paying your rent at the courthouse and explain to the clerk at the courthouse you will continue to pay your rent there until your landlord gets rid of the roaches in your home for good. This is your right as a tenant.
If this is your home you may need to call an exterminator to have them tent the home. If they are the German Roaches you will probably have to do that. If you see one there are millions not too far away. Try Boric acid first if you don't have pets or children that may get into it. Border it around the inside corners of your house. Good luck.

They are very difficult to get rid of, expecially if you're in an apartment. If in an apartment, like I am, find out who just moved out...they probably had the roaches and were a source of food. Try bombing them (the cockroaches, that is).

I had a friend tell me to get powdered boric acid, from the pharmacy, and put a little in a bottle cap or some such shallow dish. I did and mixed a little powdered sugar in with the boric acid to attract them to it. PLace several around where you've noticed them. Apparently this dries their insides out and killsl them fairly quickly. And they also take it back to their nests and it dries up the others there. I got rid of mine, or maybe I got some very sloppy neighbors who attracted them back across the wall, I don't know which. Now, when I see an occasional one I just smash it. I know I'll never be totally free of them until I move away. My building is in the middle of an orchard and they do come in from outdoors sometimes. Country living at its best, oh boy!!! But you can discourage them with your clean living and persistance.

You can get help from the health department, usually, if all else fails and you're renting. I imagine they'd even be willing to help a desparate homeowner, but don't know.

Good luck.

it's the heat. i had a lot coming out recently. it's not an easy answer but best thing to do is use some roach forgers one day then the next day fill in all the cracks and opening in and around cabinets. i used a cocking gun to do this. if you have bigger opening then i would recommend using a foam insulater in those spots. get these things at your local building supply store. also get some baits for the dam buggers, and there is a bait jell to put in the corners of your cabinets.

once you have everything, get to work. fog one day. then you will have to check all the molding in your home as well as your cabinets. every crack, hole or opening has to be filled. before putting everything back in it's place clean every surface. then put the things back. don't forget to place the baits and the jell first. if you have to use the insulation foam be careful it can get messy and it took me 3 days before it started to peal off my fingers.

you may still see some roaches after. if you do then don't kill them right away. follow them to where they are going. you may find a opening that you missed. if you missed one close it up. after you're done wash every dish and cooking surfaces, remember the bug fogger gets everywhere. you don't want to be putting it in your mouth. that's also why i didn't use boric acid, because i got my daughter that i don't want her getting into it.

It's very easy just sprinkle (Boric Acid) along their trade routes, within 1-day you'll notice they are gone, here's how Boric Acid works. It consists of a white powder that sparkles because under a scope it looks like a fine glass. Roaches walk through the powder and take it back to their nest with them, that spreads the glass like powder, which works it's way into their nasty little bodies and kills them by cutting up their insides! Works great everytime! Hey forget Control and any other products like roach traps, you may get one or two, but only Boric Acid does the job once and for all, you won't have to wait a week or a month it kills them in 24-hours, stone cold dead, and all their followers!

Maybe buy a bug repelent or bug bomb, if that doesn't work try finding the source in your house the roaches are coming from. Maybe they are attracted to something in your house? Remove that and test it out for a few days. If the roaches are gone use the repelent maybe ones a week to keep them away.

Boric acid, EVERYWHERE! Ask at a pharmacy, they usually have it in powder form. For now, put down some roach hotels and then put this powder everywhere there are roaches crawling. It kills them! And quick! But you have to keep refreshing it every now and then. My mom used this and we reduced our roach population, and this was in Charleston, SC where the roaches are like more than 2 inches long and they FLY!

Lots of bug bombs...used according to the directions ! Then do a DEEP-CLEANING for the entire house...putting powdered borax down, in, under, & behind EVERYTHING; where it won't show ! Keep the house spotless. They hide in boxes, bags, clothes, appliances...CHeck out the insides of a clock on your wall... yechhhh... Or, if you live in Houston,...buy 1 million mousetraps and set the suckers ! I couldn't BE-LEEVE the size of THOSE nasties ! I moved way back north where it freezes the buggers in the winter ( pretty much...)

Really? Try a three prong approach. I presume your house is free of food for them to eat. Combat makes a gel for about $10..expensive,but effective. That is #1 bait....use foggers....#2 bomb and #3 get some glue boards. Add a can of bug spray to kill the live ones you see and you will get a control

I would suggest a two-step method.

First, purchase roach bombs sufficient to exterminate your home.

Second, buy some roach baits that make the females sterile.

Bomb and bait... it may take a few weeks but you will win the war.
