My Spanish teacher gave me an old copy of their Chronicles album a few months ago and I absolutely love their music. Unfortunately, that's all of their music I have. Any ideas on what else of theirs I should get? I've heard a lot of praise for YYZ, but I still haven't heard it!

The two classic CDs of Rush are:

Moving Pictures (Tom Sawyer, Limelight, YYZ, Red Barchetta)
2112

Start there. From there move to:
Permanent Waves (Spirit of Radio, Jacobs Ladder)
Hemispheres (actually rated #1 by MySpace's Rush group which was a shocker to everyone)

From there I would go more current and get:

Vapor Trails (their newest)
Counterparts

General consensus is to stay away from Feedback (cover songs), Test for Echo, and Rush. Or at least get them last.

But, Rush is the greatest band ever and worth getting all CDs. They've went through so many styles and genres which made them last these last 30 years. Enjoy!

You obviously haven't heard Rush sing "Barack The Magic *****", or heard him call Obama a "Hafrican American". You've got to stop and think for a minute that if a racist, sexist bigot like Limbaugh doesn't like Hillary, she can't be all bad. If you're going to vote for Obama (which i did), don't do it just to vote against Hillary, make sure there is a real reason behind it. Don't let your vote be manipulated by an idiot like Limbaugh.
