if you are pregnant, how soon you can find out that you are?

i did the pregnancy test one week after i did sex, it was negative, then two week later, two days before my period the answer was positive, but i dont think i got pregnat two days after my period, i am confused

I dont believe that you can find out a week later of being pregnant...they have tired to find out ways to tell earlier but I do believe that you have to be within 3 days of your period to know. If you are unsure I would wait until you are considered late and take another test.
