It does look deformed, but that's only cos I'm used to colour. Color actually makes more sense

Not in the USA but I suppose in the U.K. it would. I don't see the need for the U so I prefer color and think colour looks deformed
I am sure my friend from England would disagree with me and agree with you that colour is better.

yes i think color looks wrong compared to colour, but i seem to use color alot more bcoz the more it annoyed peeps at my work the funnier i found it and now i do it without thinkin - aaarrrrgghh

colour is the English spelling. the Americans shortend it to make it easier for new immigrants to learn English, that was when immigants were good people.
