That's an interesting question. I think for myself, it's out of sheer frustration. It's sad to think some people could be so stupid, yet one feels some sort of responsibility to point it out to them.

I answer some of the stupid ones, but I leave feeling somewhat unsatisfied.

you can answer stupid questions quickly and they don't require brain power.

One thing that really bothers me is when I take my time and give an intelligent, thought-out answer (from my own knowledge base) and when I post it, someone has looked it up on the web and either pasted in the answer or the link.

because you don'y have to put any thought in2 it, like this questions, you don't have 2 put any thought in2 it, bucause it's easy 2 answer, and that people think it's stupid.....
