Depends. Why do you want to do this and why does it have to hgappen right now.
Many times, especially when we are young, our emotions get in the way of a rational decision and it takes someone on the outside looking in to see certain things. Listen to your friends reasonings, after all, you don't have to take the advice they give if you feel you shouldn't. They may not be as jealous as you think.

How long have you been together? HS relationships are a joke. People grow up and change. How does your family feel about this?
What's the rush in having kids. Are you both financially secured to have children? Cause working full time at Starbucks is not going to cut it. If you aren't making a combined income of $100,000 a year, forget it.
Finish college first then see how you two feel about each other. If you were ment to be together then get married after you both graduate college.
