It's much more difficult for women to get off and pleasure themselves than it is a man. Men are able to grab-an-go type thing, where as no matter where you stick it, as long as it's warm and tight(the former not even required) you can get off and orgasm. When a woman is masturbating, it takes skill and preference and a lot of the time our fingers don't reach to those "tough to get" places, where as a dildo is a simulator of sex, and can get places fingers normally couldn't.
