Any blood in your discharge should be investigated by a doctor. Be sure to tell the doctor what time of month this occurs, as the more info you give the more likely they are to be able to help.

Other than my last day of my period, I have never had that happen. But, I had a friend that happened to in college. She had cysts and it was something she needed to see her gyn. about. I suggest going ASAP.
