You will get shot down a lot. Best to narrow the odds. My best trick was to sit at a busy bar during Happy Hour reading a book (make sure it is a good book and that you can talk about it). I would ignore everyone and woman after woman would come up to me and ask why I was reading in a bar. Unless exceptional, I would politely push them away until a woman came up and said, "What are you reading", that was the one you wanted to talk to. Good Luck.

Just walk up to her, say hello and be yourself...if she rejects you, what is the most that can happen? It just gives you an experience and a memory...better than if you keep thinking and never did..you will never know how it feels

Just grow a pair and say "What the hell. What's the worst that could happen, she says she doesn't want to talk."
And approach her. Introduce yourself and just say hi.
Remember that if you don't try you will always be thinking what if you did.

give her a cheesy pickup line to make her laugh and just go with the flow from there...girls love a guy who can make them laugh!
