Don't count the White Sox out yet. They never quit, so the ninth inning could be very interesting.
(EDIT: Well, this one ended 6-5, but the A's-Red Sox game is still going.)

Funny thing about baseball....a team could be 15 games out in Septemeber and still win.
The thing with boston and ny...is (as Yogi Berra once said)
It aint over till it's over.
So, dont count out the red sox yet.
I think they win the east
Chicago wins the central
Tigers take the wild card.
and it;s good-bye yankees.
Of course, only time will tell.

i think that the yankees will go to the play-offs but as a wild card team. the detroit tiger's will go and the white sox will not

I've personally been saying it since day 1, and I'll say it again, the Yankees will win the AL East. I haven't budged from that stance.
