If you forgot the password, go to control panel-user accounts and change it.

You aren't going to find it.
Any time I need to reset it, I have a special utility that boots up a linux core and runs under it.
In most cases I can't SEE the actual password, I can only reset it.
The software I use isn't for the faint of heart either as if you use it wrong you can really futz up the system.

its called the password reminder in the user accounts of the control panel...you did give a password hint didn't you?? If you can't remember the password the hit F2 when you have restarted and go into setup and reset it there.

It's heavily encrypted. You're not SUPPOSED to be able to find it. If it's your system ,and you lost or forgot it, you're probably stuck re-installing your operating system.

I seem to vaguely remember someone explaining a way to wipe it out using a version of Knoppix. But if that is possible, it's a bit over my head.
