in my opinion,

a choice is whether to eat Chinese or Italian (simple)
a decision is how to handle a drunk guy swinging at my fellow officers, do we spray him or club him like a baby seal.

i think a decision has more of an impact then a simple choice. a choice is also sometimes personal and a decision is made based on hard evidence

A choice seems like something short-term and shallow--like what am I going to eat today, etc.

A decision is more long-term and life-altering--like buying a house, marrying someone, etc.
