Philippines
Hospitality
Inherently, Filipinos are the most hospitable, humble but with pride. Filipinos are best for their ability to speak English, their open-mindedness that allows them to integrate and communicate and their naturally warm nature.
To find individual that have been groomed for success in the hotel industry is quite difficult. The Filipino is, by far, the most suited worker for customer service and highly regarded in the hotel industry. There is a great global demand for quality labor, not just in the entry level positions which most institutions prepare their graduates to succeed, but also for leadership positions which Enderun will groom its graduates to obtain,
The Filipino hospitality is indeed one-of-a-kind. There’s no such thing as an uninvited guest or a bad time to visit. There will always be something to eat that will be offered to the visitor, however difficult the time is.
The Filipinos call their attitude "hospitality"..
If it happens that there’s a need for the visitor to stay the night, not having an extra pair of clothes will not even suffice as an excuse. You will be entitled to the best bed or the best room in the house. In the old days, the visitor is even entitled to the master’s bed even if that means that the master has to sleep on the floor.
Mars Mosqueda Jr. of Suite101.com has this to say of the Filipino hospitality:
Considering the multi-cultural exposure that I got from my workplace, I have learned that calling first (before visiting) indeed has its advantages. Even so, my boss still needs to remind me to call first just to be safe, when visiting a sick colleague for example; because with my own friends, I just pop at their doorsteps albeit the cultural exposure.
The question of safety following the kidnappings and government upheavals still hangs in the air, Despite the credibility of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, tourists still wary of returning. Nonetheless the famed Filipino hospitality allays the fears of visitors.
"While others will just point the way to one asking directions, a Filipino will accompany him until he reaches his destination."
That’s a fact. Read the DOT report which states that 48.2 % of the tourists cited Filipino hospitality as the main reason for coming back to the archipelago.

I live in the USA - California to be more specific. I think the best thing about living in the USA is the freedoms we are free to enjoy, without threat of being harmed for our beliefs. Freedom to worship, freedom of speech, etc. I can't imagine living in a dictatorship, although some would argue that our dear ol' "Dubya" has created one!
