These people do not know what they are talking about..okay well techinally you could go to the gyno during your period but they cannot do an exam for a couple reasons:
1. If they take a pap during your period it throws off the results. It will automatically come back as abnormal if they take it during your period.
2. You cannot have an ultrasound either because your female organs are enlarged and you may have cysts..which again can throw off the test results.
However, if it is an emergency I am sure they can see you during your period.

Depends on why you are seeing them. The best way to be sure is to ring and ask the receptionist/gynaecologist yourself and explain the situation. They will tell you their policy and either keep or remake the appointment. Every doctor has different policies so you should check with your doctor, as none of the people on Answers will know how your doctor works.

Ummmm...I've rescheduled appointments in the past because I would get my period. Yuck. I just couldn't make my gynecologist deal with it during that time of the month.

Yes but you may be a little more embarrassed than normal. Make sure you shower and cleanse yourself well before going. (I know that you should know to bathe already but believe it or not, some people don't.)

You can if you have bleeding problems. If you don't, it's best not to go because it can mess up some of the test results.
