Never use bottled water. Bottled water does not have the same standards as tap water. Tap water is much cleaner as there are stricter standards for making sure the water is safe to drink. For the first few months it is best to boil the water. Then, when the baby is older, say 3-4 months, you can use warm tap water. Of course, when you boil the water you do let it cool down before you make the bottles. Then you can mix as many as you want and store in the fridge for 2-3 days. When you need one, just put the bottle in hot tap water in a cup. You can microwave but be very careful as microwaves don't heat evenly and can leave hot spots that will burn the baby's mouth.

I would use boiled water that has been cooled down for the first 3-6 mos - THen you can ask your doctor about using tap water.
By 6 mos most babies can handle the extra minerals and fluoride found in tap water

The least expensive healthiest option is cold filtered tap water (Pur/Brita faucet filter) heated in a bottle warmer then mixed with formula. DO NOT use warm or hot water from the sink - filtered or not - as the heat leaches any lead that may present in your plumbing into the water.

I believe the instructions say to fill bottle with cooled water and mix 1 oz formula for every 2 oz water, then heat, but my baby did not require a heated bottle.

Yea human beings say that warm water freezes quicker than chilly too. i think of it somewhat is a team of crap. You sound like a clever dude and your reasoning on the nice and comfortable water being closer to the boiling factor is sound. we could desire to constantly all placed up this to Mythbusters to have them discover out for specific.
