I was born and raised in California, just outside of Fresno
Lived in Fremont and Oakhurst.
When we retired we could live anywhere we wanted. Went on vacations to all sorts of places. Don't like cold weather.
Don't like coastal herricanes. Really wanted to live in New Mexico. But came to South East OK, on the border to Ark
The ozark mountain range was beautiful. I also loved ARkansas
But we settle here in Ok. And we love it, way out in the rurals.
Open pastures and no people. No snow to amount to anything.
Usually nice weather. This place works for us.
Besides the real estate is cheeper here than anywhere else in the country

Eew, who wants to live in a city. I am sick of traffic and congestion. If I had unlimited resources, I'd quit my job and move to the middle of nowhere and be a hermit. Somewhere near Rt. 1 in California would be nice.

If it has to be a US city I'd probably choose either San Diego or Honolulu. Both have warm weather and beaches.

I think I would try Seattle. I went there once on vacation, and it was sooo green , had a temperate climate, and a beach - very different from Arizona where I now live.

St. Pete in Florida. It's got everything there. A night life, a community feel to it, it has the ocean. It basically has everything I desire.
