It's totally right that zidane apologised for his actions. Materazzi should do the same as he provoked him.

yes it's right he must apologize........actually the whole team and country should apologize for being such sore losers......as if they were the only ones who had the right to win the cup.........the French will go down in history as the poorest showing of sportmanship ever witnessed......what a shame..........I've been watching the world cup since 1978 and have to hand it to them.......they win the sore loser trophy by miles!!!

It was right and proper for him to apologize. His actions were uncalled for no matter what the other player said.

absolutely. in soccer people talk sh*t about each other and their family and its all part of the game. Zidane took Materazzi's words the wrong way. instead of talking back he head-butted him which was wrong. so i think it is right.
