Me for instance, I am about 5'2". I am really really
friggin short. But its okay because i am slender as well.
I read alot of questiions on here regarding men dating
shorter women, and I guess it bothers me that the
girls calle us "fat" and "stocky"? Is Shakira fat?
is Salma Hayek fat? Some women who are short
have incredible figures.
So why all the venom and hatred?
I think tall women are graceful and beautiful.

Seriously, I think you are making an unfair generalization. Sure, that are probably some hateful tall women out there, but most of us who are truly tall know what it is like to be different and to struggle to find nice clothes that fit well. Any tall women who gives you **** about your size is probably facing insecurities of her own that she is just unable to handle.

I've never seen a more untrue statement in my whole life. I'm 5'9 and i have been hated and rejected for it by "normal sized" women (and men) my entire life either because they were jealous of my height or because they thought i was making myself noticeable on purpose to attract all the attention or because they thought i was trying to intimidate them or simply because they were embarrassed to hang out with the freak....I'm not even talking about the hell it has been to find clothes and shoes at my size until i was nearly 30 years old. I remember all the times i went clothes shopping as a teenager with my friends, i was alwaysso very excited as all girls are. My girl friends were all happy to show me the nice things they had found, of course i was happy for them, but me i always ended up un tears in the fitting room because i couldn't find a single thing that would fit me. Not a single thing. What do you think that does on a girl's self confidence? I am sorry.
And ho boy how many time have i heard "You're so Lucky to be tall". That sentence just shows how wrong other women are about being a tall woman. Being a tall woman is a curse not a blessing. Don't get me wrong i don't hate shorter women. But i fairly convinced that it's the other way around. The other day i went to the hospital, i was receptioned by a fairly small person, her first reaction when she saw me was to glare at me with all the despise she could muster, which was far from being unfamiliar to me unfortunately, later on she admitted that she was jealous because i was tall and she was short. i know what it is to be different, therefore i accept everybody for what and who they are and i don't hold judgements on anyone. But this statement is just stupid. I have endured so much more cruelty from short people my entire life than the other way around believe me. And if some tall women fight back sometimes, well that's probably for that reason why but it doesn't mean they hate you.

i'm 6 ft tall and larger than 1/2 of the adult men that were fascinated in me were shorter than me. I surely have dated a guy who became an inch or 2 shorter than me and it kinda afflicted me, notwithstanding it did not quite hardship him in any respect. Wait until eventually u get a lil older and that i guess u could have extra success. don't be down on urself for being tall both! i love being tall and does no longer have it any opposite direction.

They're jealous. I have a sister who is 5'2" and she is thin and has a slender body. They're jealous because being a short girl is easier I guess I don't know I'm not short or a girl (6'8") :P.

No, we don't!
I am 5'10" and all my friends are a lot shorter than I.
When we go out together, I am the first one who
gets noticed (I must say - I am eye-candy) and
my friends just have to fight for attention.
There is no hatred here. Just good fun. We have
a good time and no one is jealous.

I don't think that U R so short! You are a nice height at 5'2" I'm 5'7'' thatt's only 5'' taller. My mom is 5'3" and she thinks she's short too. I know of someone 4'ft tall and she though she was BIG enough to try and steal my husband (6'1'')! Some short people can be feisty!

I think the 3rd answer is right. Short women can have a guy short or tall, where a tall women has a harder time.I'm 5 7 and I do prefer short women.

I'm short too, I'm 5'3" but I love it, because my boyfriend is also short, he's 5'5". I'm not "stocky" or "fat", I'm thin and fit as well. I think that many tall women/girls are spiteful or biased against short girls because it's easier for a short girl to be with a guy, seeing as though when you're as short as you or me, most people are taller than us, where as tall girls need very tall guys!

i'm tall for my age i'm 13 and 5'5" and i have nothing against shorter ppl, my mom is the same height as u and i've always wanted to be a little shorter cause all the boys my age r shorter than me, it gets annoying
