QB: Not bad, but not impressed either. Manning is your obvious starter, so there won't be much to worry about too much. Brooks as your backup is, for all intensive purposes, wrong. I am certain that there were other QBs available that would easily surpass Brooks on the draft rankings.
RB: I don't know how you got Portis AND Barber, but you have a rock solid corps here. DeAngelo Williams as your backup is good, but time will tell if DeShaun Foster can hold off Williams and Goings for the starting spot AND stay healthy for an entire season.
WR: Another solid set here, with Boldin and Wayne easily racking up points for you. Branch at backup is also key since he will look to boost his numbers heading into his final year with the Patriots. Toomer is your only weak point, so I would consider finding another WR or even another RB for your bench and cutting Toomer.
TE: Heap is a machine who will bounce back with McNair at QB in Baltimore. McNair loved throwing to two particular targets in Tennessee: Derrick Mason (now a Raven) and the Tight End. Heap will look like a stud if he stays healthy and McNair can pick up the Raven's offensive system quickly. Kinney at backup is not bad, but the current QB situation in Tennessee begs question as to how well he will adjust to another QB.
K: Good leg, but has been a bit wishy-washy at times.
DEF: Good defense at starter and bench. MIA D/ST should get you a few more points that ATL, but not much.
Overall, with a couple minor points, you had a monster live draft. You should be able to lock up your division and make a strong run in the playoffs.

Who trades for defenses in fantasy football?? I keep seeing people saying that. NO one would do that in a money league. Heap was a top TE last year. Look at his #s. Your team is solid 2 top tier RB's, a solid #1 WR and a very good #2. A more seasoned QB????? Eli was a top 5-6 QB in all of fantasy last year.
Your team is good as is. You may need a better bench but who needs that except on bye weeks.

There are a few things I would change. You should probably start a QB with a little more exp. like Drew Brees who is going to impress us all this upcoming year. Also Boldin should be switched with Steve Smith or Musin Mohammed. Just what I think.

Williams, be careful. they will bring him slowly.
Brooks. Night and day. Hopefully he will fill in nicely for the day that Manning is off.
Manning? This will be fun, because his receivers don't want to work with im on timing issues. This may may be a long season for him.
Toomer and Barber. They have one more good season left in them. then they will slowly decrease in production.
Others will be solid.

Your best player by far is Clinton Portis.....try to trade your Miami Def....and your league sound spretty dumb to have their live draft before pre-season because you never know if one of your players gets injured during pre-season. Best of luck.

Dump Aaron Brooks, that guy will kill your team. Other than that, you have a solid team that should give you a chance.
