Drinking more water will help you no matter what! Try getting the book Sugar Busters (Walmart for about 6 dollars) and reading it. I've lost about 175 lbs on that one, and kept it off, and feel GREAT! And yes, I'll be 49 this year! :)

The quickest healthy way to lose weight is probably by juice fasting. It's AMAZING how good it makes you feel! It takes some self control, but wow....it makes you feel like you're a new person, you can think more clearly, you feel better all over, you require less sleep, your body is detoxified in the process....simply amazing. It sounds very weird until you try it. (And yes, Green Tea helps too)

Search for "juice fasting" on yahoo or google and read up on it. You have to read the information first so you know how to plan the process. If you do it right, you only feel hungry the first 1 or 2 days of the fast....I didn't experience any hunger after the first day.


This is the perfect time of year to do it (assuming you live in the Northern Hemisphere where it is currently summer)

Take green tea tablets, and get plenty of calcium and of course water. Swim, it burns more calories all over the body more than any other exercise, and it's low impact so it won't hurt your joints. Eat green, leafy vegetables and protein rich foods, but cut back on the calories in the evening. A good rule is no carbohydrates after 4PM. Eat smaller balanced meals 5 to 7 times a day instead of bfast/ lch/ supper. Lifting weights will most likely make you gain weight, even if it's muscle, so stick to using your body weight when exercising.

There is no fast and healthy way in just one month, unless you want to loose only 5 to 8 pounds.
Drinking water is good for you, but it won't help you lose weight and sleeping will not help.
Diet and exersize is the only way.
You MUST use up all the calories you take in, and change your eating habits for good.
Its a very slow process, if you want to loose and keep it off.

do not sleep more or drink more water than you should. you are more likely to gain weight by sleeping and drinking more.

eat a high fibre diet rich in bran and cereals and fresh fruit and vegetables. exercise to the extent that you perspire at least four times a week. cut down or stop completely all alcolhol consumption, fried food and food from take away restaurants.
