Imagine constant fear. Imagine any moment a rocket can hit your house. Imagine you have no contact with your loved ones and they can be killed any moment. Or even worse: imagine you see corpses, corpses everywhere, and so much grief that it will become a genetic memory and your grandchildren will feel this grief even in a very peaceful time and place. Imagine constant hatred you feel towards the enemy. Or even worse: imagine yourself killing a person. Another. Another. Getting the taste of it. Imagine how by killing every person you are becoming tougher and tougher and at some point see no way to lead a normal life without any more enemies to kill. The war is the biggest evil and has no justification.

The War is the result of Saladin defeating the Christian Crusaders in the second century.
The Pope had instructed the Christian Kings to retake the Holy Places and the Crusaders let him down. Perhaps the Pope should have asked the Jews to fight Saladin!!

war is hell
lives are permantefly destroyed and people are maimed with terrible scares
everybody suffers, be it the soldiers or the civilians that are caught in between
however, some wars have to be fought, IE WWII, to displace dictators, whereas other wars with more questionable motives, like the VIetnam war, will forver be debated upon
however, the soldiers who fight in unpopular wars, like the respectable vietnam vets, have all given their years for a cause that nobody wants to believe in, and thus the price they pay is just so much more expensive
for whatever circusmtance, i think we oew it to our soldiers for they are always at the front line,s putting theier lives at risk constantly
ultimateldy GOd will call into question those who perpetuate wars for their own selfish motive

War has one purpose. To kill people and break things. All wars are about economics on one level or another. Someone wants something (usually land or resources) that someone else has.

I think that is sucks, and is rediculous. I am glad that I live in Canada but I know I am affected here by the war just as much. Gas prices are high and we have troops overseas. I don't know much about it but I can tell you what I do know, I don't like.

It sucks, we have NO business over there. All this is doing is causing alot of men and woman to loose their lives and if they do live through this ordeal, what do they have to come home too, mental and psyical pain for the rest of their lives. Also, what happens when their b-f, g-f, husband and wives alike can't handle the pressure of them being gone so long and they leave themselves. O' I support our men and woman, they are doing their jobs, but why...Those people over there aren't the one's who caused us 9 11...we all were lied to about that and now yrs later and millions of dollars spent out our working class pockets, the goverment says...o' too late to pull out now we would look weak.

When the gvt. was arguing for starting it a lot of people said starting it would be opening the gates to hell. Looks like they were right, doesn't it? Oh and its put the US a trillion dollars in debt to Communist China, too. I don't see any way out of this either.
