I have an interview with the Public Defender Office on Monday... I know to wear a business suite, but since it is summer and I am tanned. Does it seem un business like to wear an open toed high heals? Or should I wear hose and closed toed shoe?? Help Im stressing on what to wear!!!

I would wear pantyhose, whether you wear open toed sandals or closed shoes. Simply because, its more professional, and PD offices have standards. This way you'll be covered either way. After the interview, and your FIRST IMPRESSION (which is THE most important of all!!!)....you will know what's appropriate or not.
If the business suit is more on the "business casual" side, then open toed will work. But if it's more formal...then closed is the only way to go.
And this I know from experience.

1) NEVER ever wear hose with open toed shoes.
2)DO NOT wear open toed high heels to a job interview.
3) DO wear a pencil skirt - they're sexy yet professional and will show off tan legs in a stylish yet again, professional way.

I have always been told that it was inappropriate to wear open toed shoes for an interview, so I would go with the hose and closed toe shoe. Good luck!

I'd say do not wear open toed shoes it wouldn't look professional with a business suit.

ALWAYS wear something conservative to your first interview. Slacks are nice but you can also wear a suit skirt---just make sure it fits below the knee. Hair and makeup should also be played down, and be careful not to wear a strong perfume. good luck! :)

You do not want to wear anything sexy. i would definatly keep it conservative with closed toe shoes with a comfortable heel and always wear panty hose. Good luck!

wear somthin nice but not 2 nice or else theyll think your trying 2 hard. mayb wear a nice skirt and top. wear somethin casual/dressy
