Everybody, it seems, did this routine. Sometimes the person who said the trigger word got bopped over the head, squirted with water, took a pie in the face . . . it's a classic, and not just cuz of The Stooges"

Abbot & Costello did this routine, not in a movie but on their TV show. Way way back.

"The Susquihanah Hat Company! Slowly I turn, step by step, inch, by inch...."

I thought that was from an I Love Lucy episode, "Slowly I turn, then step, by step........." LOL LOL LOL just thinking of it! Then we used to imitate it in line at Hollowscream!!! LOL
