Here's a thought, would this short circuit the brain of a liberal.

George Bush comes out firmly against Israel and their actions.

How the the modern day liberal cope with that without having a meltdown. They hate Israel and are always against them but they hate Bush even more. How would they decide, could they decide?

It is good to see that there are a few rational people up here tonight that are quite capable of putting this issue into proper perspective. Israel has done nothing that we wouldn't do(or haven't done), I was so happy when I first heard that Bush was not going to do the typical American response condemming Israel and demanding they cease their efforts. The tide is turning I can feel it.

I have not got here across Al Jazeera to be so anti-West. I study the paper, alongside with the Washington submit, and others. Israel did not prefer to occupy Lebanon contained in the 80s. They were protecting themselves hostile to terrorists. Hezbollah is as undesirable for Lebanon because it is for Israel. Lebanon fought a civil warfare for Muslim civil rights, were given it, and now Hezbollah is attempting to regulate Lebanon for his or her own use. with out them, Lebanon and Israel would have a sturdy operating relationship. Lebanon will be properly off. Iraq? Saddam mandatory to bypass. yet, i'm afraid Bush has quite messed that one up. we've civil warfare, and G-d help the individuals there. you're saying usa of america went there for oil------gained't deny that. yet, i imagine Bush is extra into pushing his form of authorities and his Evangelical Christianity. If the warfare had lengthy gone properly, the authorities a democracy, then Bush would have stepped in pushing his faith. i fairly do have self belief this. he's doing it contained in the united states. it is scary. This very last warfare------Hezbollah all started it by kidnapping infantrymen. Then, they could no longer compete with Israel in warfare. Israel had to make a huge push-at the same time as they're so outnumbered and positioned the position they're-------it is termed survival. And,Hezbollah stationed themselves between civilians---wager they think about them collateral damage, no longer worth something. What do you mean by harmless slaves in Palestine? Slaves?

What can I say Hamas and Hezbollah are a bunch of stinky terrorists that deserve to be tried as Nazi War Criminals under the Laws of Israel.

These 'little kids' are probably at least 14. Arabic cultures have different values. A man is considered an adult at a much younger age. And anyway, it's called desperation.

America has employed people younger than 18 in wars before though.

Because they fill those kids with hate from the time they are knee high and use them as pawns in there terrorist exploits and then when those kids get killed they point the finger at us, like it's our fault but it's there fault.

In Jewish culture, a boy becomes a man at 13. Do you see Israeli children in uniform? Culture or no culture, placing children in harm's way is wrong.

Nobody has noticed this because they're too busy slamming Israel for defending themselves. I guess the world is basically anti-semitic.

It's a very screwed up culture, where people are raised to think it's "an honor to die for Palestine"*.

Personally, I would tell the leaders who are sending in suicide bombers that if it's such a great honor, go do it yourself.

Not only that but anti-semitism is taught in school as a fact.
