If you mean (18)*(5/6)then:
You can multiply 18 by 5 and divide by 6
or you can write the answer in fraction form and simpplify the 18 to 3 and 6 to 1 because they are diagonals. Then you have 3*5 left. The answer is then simple to find out, 15.

18 /1 x 5/6 multiply across
18 x 5 =90
1 x 6 = 6
90/6
reduce
90 / 3 = 30 divide
6 / 3 = 2 divide
30 / 2 is 15 so the answer is 15

Cross multiply.
18/1 x 5/6 18x5=90 and 6x1=6
so your answer is 90/6
but you are not done.
Don't forget to reduce
6 goes into both
6 goes into 90 15 times and 6 goes into 6 one time
answer is 15/1 which brings your final answer 15

eighteen over one times five over six. multiply straight across to get 90 over 6. divide 90 by 6 to get 15. Or, 18 over 1 times 5 over 6. reduce and multiply. becomes 3 over 1 times 5 over 1 which is 15.
