Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. During this process, memory requests for some applications may be denied.** but when i fix the virtual memory it still lags and takes for ever to load in, i dont know what the problem is and i told you every thing i know, so if im not fixing the virtual memory right please tell me.

"Lost connection" means that something is wrong with your internet connection (it might be too small). For the memory problem, go to "My computer". Right click and choose Properties. Choose Advanced tab. Click on Settings in Performance. If you don't mind having your windows look "old", choose "Adjust for best performance". You can always come back to the great looking Windows later. Now, go to Advanced tab and click on Change. Choose Custom size, and enter how much disk you want to give for virtual memory. (It should be at least what is recommended bellow and not more than twice that.) Enter the same numbers in Initial size and Maximum size for optimal performance. Click Set, then OK. You will need to restart the computer.
This change will benefit your computer performance even if it won't solve the problems with game.
Good Luck

Adjust Virtual Memory

If you have two hard drives in your computer and your C: drive is about full, you can tell Windows to use your other drive for virtual memory .
OR—if you have one hard drive that is faster than the other, it's probably better to use that one for virtual memory, since your data is retrieved faster.

In any event, if you want to change the drive Windows uses for virtual memory, here's how:

A word of caution first : If you mess something up with virtual memory (you know, like change the amount Windows can use or shut it off altogether), it can stop your system from functioning properly. So be careful!

For Windows 95, 98 & ME

1. Right-click My Computer and select Properties from the resulting menu.

2. Next, click the Performance tab and click the Virtual Memory button.

3. By default, Windows manages your virtual memory. Select "Let me specify my own virtual memory settings".

4. From the "Hard Disk" drop box, select the drive you want to use.

That's it. Hit the OK button and you're all set.

Again, if you feel the need to mess with any other settings, you do so at your own risk.

Windows XP hides the VM adjustment—probably because they don't really want you messing with it.

1. Right-click My Computer and select Properties (or hold down the Alt key and double-click "My Computer")

2. Click the Advanced tab then under Performance , click "Settings".

3. There will be another Advanced tab to select in the "Performance Options" window. Down where it says "Virtual Memory" click Change .

4. Finally, we get to the screen we're looking for:

You will see a window with available drives where you can select the drive you want (if you have more than one). Notice that it also shows how much space you have available on that drive. You can specify a Custom size, or let the system manage the size for you. After you've made your selection, click Set and OK .

You've probably go a virus on your system. If your anti virus software is up to date and a registered version, update your virus list and do a full system scan. If your anti virus software isn't up to scratch, reinstall limewire.

After this, go to start and run msconfig. This will bring up your start menu options. Deselect everything in Services and Startup. This will stop the viruses from loading. Reboot.

Go to Limewire and download Norton Anti virus and follow the direction in the .txt file to install it and get it registered.

Stay disconnected from the web until it is registered and has done a couple of full system scans.

Go to msconfig again and select everything in Services and Startup, reboot your pc. After everything is running properly again, you can reconnect to the internet.
