Any tips for things to do/see in the Great North Woods in Maine this fall?

We are going to stay in Millinocket for a few days and in Pittston Farm for a few days. Already planning to hike Mt. Katahdin, do a little canoeing, and hopefully see some moose as well. Any other suggestions for things to do/see? I'm bringing my 4x4, so I'd like to do some 4 wheeling on/around the logging roads up there as well.

Go kayaking down the Allagash! (Alleygash)

With my wife, I like to pretend we are bears. We chase each other through the woods naked, and when I catch her, we mate. Try it with your girlfriend and/or wife (both at the same time if possible).
