The suggestions of going to a video store and asking for their used posters is a good idea as well as looking on e-Bay. You can also check with Overstock.com and Deep Discount DVD. I've seen a reasonable selection on both.

Go to a small video store (not Blockbuster or anything) and ask them if you can have the poster once they're done with it. One of my friends did that and they let him keep it!

WALMART! becasue if you want to go to any video store they are going to rip you off. but i dont know how many movie posters they have there. and they are around $3
