Most erotic scenes that i have seen in mainstream movies are instantly forgettable.
However the one that I have never forgotten is from Un homme amoureux also known as "A man in Love"
The scene I always remember is one where Greta Scacchi and probably Peter Coyote are doing the deed standing up.
I have absolutely no idea what the rest of the film was about and can only imagine that it was the gorgeous Greta Scacchi that grabbed my attention.

The winner in a recent poll that I saw published in the news, the most erotic scene is the first spanking scene in Secretary with James Spader. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

Maybe the movie he saw was "9 Songs"? I heard some scenes are pretty intense in that, and it came out within the past couple of years. Also may have been "The Brown Bunny" or "Lie With Me".

For me, always UNFAITHFUL. I forget the name of the actress played as Richard Gere's wife and the man whom she had an affair with. but I think I still can recall those erotic scenes ^_^
