I've been seeing this guy and wonder if he asks, should I talk about my past marriage and my divorce? I try not to but he always asks.

He wants to know about you. What he's thinking about you now is "What does she have to hide?" You'd better tell him if you want the relationship to move forward.

No, it is in the past for a reason. Don't bring that baggage to the table at all. If he asks tell him it is in the past and you are looking to the future.

When you signed papers that meant it was over. And over it should stay.

Tell him the past is in the past and that it where it should remain. Dwelling on the past is no good compared to living in the present and building toward a healthy future. Period.

It depends on where you want the relationship to go. Of course you need to address your past. If you don't, you are probably hiding something. You don't need all the gorey details but something brief is expected.....then, let it go. Wouldn't you want to know about what went on in his relationship past???

Yes - you should be open and honest. Just try not to let it dominate your conversations. We divorced people do tend to go on and on and it can get boring.
