Let me ask you this. If Jerry Springer sent you plane tickets and tickets to his show and you didn't know why, would you go???

Of course! These people go on the show and then appear shocked when they are told something terrible! Yeah right! A person would have to live in the forest with no knowledge of the outside world to think that they were going to get some good news. They always seem so unsuspecting. If someone took me on Jerry I'd come on stage with big frown!

I used to work with someone who was on Jerry Springer and when they went up to Chicago to film, the crew there asked their story. They still used their story, but asked to "embellish it" a bit to make it raunchy, if you know what I mean. So part of it can be real and a lot of it is fake!

No, there are people everywhere in world with serious issues. I bet you can find someone on your street with the some weird issues like they have on Jerry Springer.

I have wondered that so many times!!!! Seriously, who wants to get on TV and be humiliated in front of a studio audience and hundreds of viewers? Sure we'd all like our 5 minutes of fame, but personally I wouldn't want it to be what some of those people are on there for. Nonetheless, truth IS stranger than fiction :o) I think it's almost impossible to know, unless you can find someone on Yahoo! Answers that was actually ON the show as a participant! :o)

i've watched many of these amercian talk shows, and to be honest if theyre actors on Jerry they must be actors on all the talk shows because they all seem to be doing exactly the same things, i dont think theyre actors, i think theyre just americans.

Everyone on that show is an actor. They know what they are in for when they go on, and they want exposure. Only a fool would do it otherwise.
