My husband and I want to try for another child, and I am tanning right now, so when i get pregnant, I quit tanning right away right? If so, why is it bad...Im positive you have to quit, but not sure so if you could help. Thanks.
A standing tanning bed.. and if NO... is INSTANT TAN okay?

Yes, right away.

As far as the stuff you put on your body like lotions and stuff check with your doctor.

I do know the pills for tanning are a huge no no. My family member took them and had tan pee, poo and throw up.

Tanning beds aren't really safe for anyone, pregnant or not. The type of light that makes you tan, UV A and UV B, is the same light that causes skin cancer. But when in doubt, ask your doctor.

you stop right away, when you lay out and such your body temp goes up just for the simple fact that your in the sun and when your body temp goes up so will your baby's, same goes for tanning beds. its up to you weather you want to use the instant tan, just remember no tests have been done to see if instant tanning products can harm an unborn baby or not.

If you are trying to have a baby you should quit now before you become pregnant, the first while of the pregnancy is the most important, so don't hurt the kid before he's even conceived
