What are you doing to bring people to the website? You can have the best product in the whole wide world and a great website but without customers, you can't sell anything.

Those website businesses often forget to discuss MARKETING and ADVERTISING, both of which usually cost money, sometimes significant amounts of money.

Start by learning how CPC (pay per click), CPM and Search Engine Optimization work. These are all used by any website that expects to make money. Expect, even with a small start, to spend $100 a month or more getting this done.

Then you can decide if an email campaign (beginning to be less effective) or other type of advertising is worth trying. Creating content that is searchable by the engines and that is fresh often creates reasons for people to come back. One of the things I do is produce a weekly newsletter to draw people back again and again.

It is both time consuming and costs money (which as been worth it for me).

There is NO such thing as a low investment, no work way of making money.

If you are selling product in internet business you will really have to put them into search engine. In my opinion it is not that convenient as you have to do delivery, iventory and the safety of the product is not 100% guaranteed. Go for the internet business, which requires less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing, or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business, which does not require big money to start it.

You have to measure. How many website visitors do you get a month? Where and why are they leaving the website? Do you require them to create an account with you before purchasing? What type of marketing do you do for the website?

These are just a few questions that you need to answer before you can really understand why people are not buying from you. The details are a bit much to get into here so send me a message if the questions above didn't jolt any ideas.

people have to know it is there before they can order, this is what i did, u ever get those email that have like 20 email address at the top where that email was sent out. I would copy those email address and use them to send out info on your web site. it is very easy to get 1000's of address that way and it is 1000;s of people that will have the info on your site now
