WELL THESE THING WORKED FOR ME WITH MY SONS.
1) YOU CAN WARM A TOWEL IN THE DRYER AND LAY IT ON YOUR LAP,LAY BABY ON STOMACH ACRESS YOUR LEGS AND GENTLY BOUNCE.
2) YOU CAN TRY LAYING YOUR BABY ON A FOLDED TOWEL OR BLANKET ON THE DRYER OR WASHER(NEVER LEAVE YOUR BABY UNTENDED) AND LET THE ACTION OF THE MACHINE SOOTH THE BABY.
3) YOU CAN TAKE 4ozs. OF WARM WATER AND MELT A PEPPERMINT DISK IN IT. JUST TILL THE RED IS REMOVED AND FEED TO BABY.IF YOU BABY HAS COLIC THIS HELP WITH IT ALSO.
4) YOU CAN TRY PLAYING MUSIC ANY KIND YOUR BABY SEEMS TO LIKE AND STAND AND SWAY WITH BABY WHILE STANDING.
5) LAY BABY ON BED AND SWADDLE FIRMLY IN BLANCKET AND TRY AND GIVE WARM BOTTLE OR BINKEY(IF BABY WONT TAKE BOTTLE. AND ROCK GENTLY.
6) DON'T EVERY SHAKE YOUR BABY.
7) IF ALL ELSE FAILS, PUT BABY IN HIS/HER BEDOR BASSINET OR CRADLE AND LET CRY. PUT BABY IN SEPERATE ROOM IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE CRYING. AND CHECK THE BABY EVERY FEW MINUTES AND WHEN YOU CHECK ON BABY AND IF BABY IS STILL CRYING, TRY PICKING BABY UP AND TRY 1-5 AGAIN. AND IF NONE OF THESE WORKS THAN HAND OFF TO OTHER PARENT OR FAMILY MEMBER.
GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE ALL OR SOME OF THESE HELPS.

maybe your baby has colic. If so then they will cry alot and nothing seems to help. Talk to the dr. and see if maybe changing his type of formula may help. My son had to drink soy. It stinks but he handled it better. Your baby my also be constipated. This happens frequently in babies since they have sensitive tummies and still getting used to digesting. Try suppositories. You simply put into rectum and hold until stool softens and they have a bowel movement. When was the last time your child pooed? and was it hard or mushy? It could also be gas. This can be very painful for a baby. Try rubbing your babies belly and back and rocking your child gently. There is a product made just for babies that relieves gas it is found at any grocery store. One thinks also if you use suppositories make sure you buy the type that is meant for babies. Usually found on the baby isle. Try all these things if all else fails and your at wits end find someone you trust like the your spouse, sibling, or your parents to watch te little one for an hour or so. Its times like this when parents can become angry and frustrated and impatient. I know all to well I have had 2 boys. Take a breather and allow someone else to help you. good luck!

Leave the baby alone. Babies can get over stimulated an annoyed, just as adults do. Lay the baby in her crib and let her watch her mobile for a while or let her lay on the floor and play.

Sometime babies don't know what they want anymore than adults do. Try reading a book, taking her outside, a bath, a change of scenery - possibly the grocery store, the park, the car. Just try things and you'll learn. Being a new parent is hard but you'll get used to it and it WILL get easier.

Good luck and have a great night!

Comfort them in anyway they like. Like bouncing, holding, cuddling, loving them, talking to them, singing to them (they don't care if you can carry a tune or not), and whatever you can think of to soothe and comfort the baby.

Also, they may just need to cry. If nothing has helped and there is nothing wrong with the baby, let the baby cry for about 15 minutes or so, anything longer call the doctor.

If you feed them and change them and they are still crying, they might have a belly ache.. or many other things. Also, have you tried rocking her? I mean that's logical. Babies like to be held close and cuddled with. That stops it almost every time. If nothing stops it and you've already given them medicine (for gas, or tylenol for a fever, or whatever they needed), then it's OKAY to let them cry.. sometimes babies just need to cry.

I have 4 children, i would give the baby a soothing warm bath, massage him or her with baby magic, then wrap them snug in a receiving blanket, rock them or pace the floor gently patting their little bottom. The baby has to feel secure, do not let it know that you are feeling tension. Listen to the cry something could be hurting them good luck always worked for me. ! more little trick as you hold the baby and rock them gently rub their nose between their eyes puts them to sleep.

the baby might have colic and if him or her does they have a stomach ache and it hurts. you can try some peppermint drops in a bottle of water, put the washer on spin, and put the babys in thier seat and set it on top of the washer while it spins and that relieves them and most of the time they will go to sleep. or take the baby ona car ride and they will probably and most likely go to sleep. and that does'nt work take them to the doc and he will give you some meds for that. the reason i said that last is because the meds they will give them will have codine in it and i dont really like that . i had to do that once. but it does work and i know parents need some rest too.

Keep trying to figure out what the problem is. Since you didn't give an age for the baby it could be colic, it could be teething, it could be an ear ache, it could be a cold or the flu. There are many different reasons a baby cries.

If there is no sign of a fever or any other sign of being sick you can try laying them across your knees on their stomach and gently bounce them. It is OK to put them in their room and let them cry it out. You can try going for a little car ride, sometimes they do have these little spells where all they want to do is cry and you just to bear with it.
