My son was almost 3 months early due to placental abruption. The doctor was not sure why I had it. I am Type 2 diabetic, but my blood sugars were under control the whole time, but due to hubby having been in the hospital and almost dying and working a stressful job he said that could have caused it. He will be 2 next month. I am now 17 1/2 weeks along and have had several ultra sounds and the placenta looks great.

My first child was induced early and the reason given was "Intrauterine Growth Restriction." They told me also there wasn't enough amniotic fluid. I was warned that my baby would be 5 pounds or less and probably have lung problems or breathing difficulty. Everything seemed fine to me and I thought I was just carrying small and low, but I went along with what my doctor said, being an inexperienced first-time mother.

When they did the c-section, my son came out perfectly healthy and weighing 6 pounds 4 ounces! I wish now that they would have left me alone and let the pregnancy progress naturally. I feel that it was not the "emergency" they made it out to be.

I have since read that amniotic fluid is self-replenishing and if it's low it can be supplemented, but they never suggested that to me. And yes, my second baby was full-term delivered naturally. I was so proud of that successfull VBAC!

I am pregnant with my third and once again carrying very small and low. I'm 8 months pregnant and look like 6 months. The midwife I have now is not concerned at all and I'm not either. I won't be persuaded into an unnecessary caesarean again!

If one became born and survived then the different should be too a ways enhanced for an abortion to be authorised until eventually it became mandatory to keep the mummy's existence. besides to if one became born alive and in all likelihood needed by the mummy then the 2d toddler should be precipitated, no longer aborted. So the problem defined does no longer arise. replace: carrying to finish time period is a ideal yet when the mummy has a subject matter consisting of pre-eclampsia or the toddler is got here across to have clinical issues which require intervention outdoors the womb then the traditional technique is to bring about start to keep the mummy and/or toddler. keep in techniques if the different twin has already been born and is a possibility then there's a great threat the most suitable twin will be a similar. i'm suprised that US regulation facilitates abortion of completely advanced babies excellent as a lot because the instantaneous formerly they're born. i'm no longer acquainted with US regulation in this respect yet in the united kingdom and maximum different international places the position abortion is criminal there's a decrease-off aspect which dictates that an abortion isn't authorised if the foetus has advanced previous a particular aspect (in a large number of situations determined by the fashion of weeks gestation and/or foetal head diameter). Abortion previous that decrease off aspect varies in this is technique yet regularly quantities to precipitated shipping and in the circumstances lower than talk such an "abortion" ought to outcome in the shipping of a stay toddler even if the mummy had replaced her techniques or no longer. i'd be fairly shocked if US regulation authorised abortion as a lot because the point the position the foetus is totally possible (say in basic terms some weeks from finished time period).

My mom did that with her 4th and 5th. Same difference, I guess. She had a lot of stress with the 4th, and she was on bed rest for a month, and the baby was over a month early! But the 5th was just fine. (I am the 4th, by the way!) This was over 40 years ago, so the doc had very little to say.
