It is the middle of summer and I will die of heat stroke if I wear a business suit. Will I be thought of as less professional if I wear black pants and a smart-looking burgundy shirt to an interview?

You should still wear a business suit.....maybe if you get called for a second interview you can the pants/shirt combo. But first impression is key.

You are not getting interviewed outside are you??? It shouldn't be too hot inside.

If everyone that works there wears business suits everyday then it probably expected that u do the same, even during the winter. You never get a second chance to get a first impression, i know its corny but its really true. Now if everyone dresses casual or "business casual" it would look silly if you went with a business suit and the outfit you mentioned would be perfect. Hope that helped.

If your thin, wear a nice looking skirt, and a blouse, with heels. Always have a brief case, to make it look like you know what you want.

I think the black pants or slack, with a nice silk or Cotton short sleeve blouse with nice accessories will do well.

That's a cool get-up.

It's the interview and exams that count.
