So, America gets hit by a terrorist attack, and we go to the Middle East to find and kill terrorists. They want to start a war with us, fine, they've got a war. But Israel gets hit with terrorist attacks constantly, and now they're getting their people kidnapped. So they attack the terrorists, and the world tells them to just let things be? Give me a break! None of us would do that! Try to be "diplomatic"? With terrorists? Come on, get real! I say "Go for it, Israel! Defend your right to exist!" Anyone else think that the world pressure on them is totally un-called-for?

Terrorists are evil. Their purpose to destroy Israel & promote a state of Islam.

Israel needs to retake the land promised to them by God. If they humble themselves & repent to God for any wicked way, including their part in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, God will heal their land. It's a promise in the bible. I have prayed for Israel & so have many other Christians.

It is also written that one would have to destroy heaven first, to destroy Israel. I expect Israel to be restored in it's entirity because it is prophecied that Israel will be restored. This is the Messiahs territory. God will expand the borders, & yet the whole earth is the Lords.

I would just tell Israel to encourage themselves in the Word & Promises of the Lord & seek God on what to do. Get it straight from God through the High Priest, Yeshua the Messiah. That is what King David did, when the enemy kidnapped their wives & children. God restored all.

The calls for Israel to scale back its response is totally uncalled for. Israel has every right to defend themselves against Hezbollah and Hamas. Both of these terrorist organizations have the destruction of Israel as their goal. If Lebanon did not want to be attacked then they should have had the spine to put a stop to these terrorists.

Since when defending yourself means KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE???? Military people have been kidnapped by Hezbollah, so it is between Military and Hezbollah. That's it.

What is f***ing wrong with that stupid country to start bombing civilian houses, bridges, roads? Why isn't possible for that super intelligent and super civilized country to target terrorists only? Because they are no better than the terrorists themselves. When one of them get killed, they have to kill a hundred innocent in retaliation. This is logic from a barbaric country the 5h century, not the 21th.

Israel isnt defending itself the soldier that was captured was in lebonesse teretory, even the israelie press has said so, and israel isnt some helpless tiny country, its the most powerful country in the mid-east thanks to our help and tax money we fund them 12 billion a year and they are the only country in the mid-east to have nukes. I believe you should inform you self more on the conflict before making crucial jusgement on who is the terrorist because its a lot more complicated then youd expect. I suggest the following documentary Israel/Palestine 101, which is taught at many schools throught the nation, it gives a broad analysis on the conflict. ( I listed some documentaries as my sources, i suggest you watch the first one especially )

I think you are absolutely right! Israel has the right to defend itself, just as we do here in the U.S.. It is sad that the world just doesn't get it. They think, "Don't go to war just sit on your butts and let them do it all over again. There is no reason for war. Let's just be happy!" They are so stupid!! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one around who is intelligent besides Bush!
Correction....You me and Bush!

One problem: Lebenon isn't to Hezbollah as Afghanistan was to Al Qaeda. Also, we went to war over 3,000+ American lives. Israel is bombing everything in Lebanon over a couple captured soldiers. Talk about a sense of perspective here.

What we did was not right either. Defending yourself does not involve bombing other countries. I usually side with Israel - but not this time. They are acting as terrorists when they bomb innocent people - many of whom do not even support Hezbollah.Shame on any one who kills innocent people. There is no such thing as "collateral damage"!

This like always is an OFFENSIVE attack by Israel and not defensive. THey took 2 hostages...that did not attack the Israel. I am not saying Hezballah is right but neither is Israel.

You are right to a point. Defend themselves. However, you know what will happen soon. The US will get involved for whatever reason. They are always backing Isreal. Why? They are troublemakers. They can do what they want, but nobody else can. They need to stand alone on this one.

I hope that Israel continues to defend its right to exist. When hundreds of millions of enemies threaten to destroy a tiny country like Israel, it reminds me of cowardly school bullies who only go after victims smaller than themselves.
